Art Director & Design Curator

Born in 1972, he has worked in both music and graphic design since the early 1990s. He completed his education in Printmaking at Trakya University’s Fine Arts Department, later earning a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Anadolu University and then in Art and Design from Near East University.

Between 2001 and 2007, he worked as a Graphic Designer at METU Technopark. In 2007, he opened his own design office in Ankara. Simultaneously, driven by a sense of responsibility towards his time and place, he organized the International Ankara Design Week events between 2007 and 2012. He worked as both an editor and designer for the Graphic Design Magazine. He served as the Publications Editor for Graphic Library Publications.

He has implemented numerous national and international publication projects. Between 2012 and 2020, he taught part-time at the Graphic Design Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Near East University, and between 2019 and 2023, he taught part-time at the Graphic Design Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture at the International Cyprus University.

He is currently implementing the Istanbul Illustration Days, Ankara Design Week, and Cyprus Design Week projects. He has been a member of the Grand Jury of the A’Design Award and Competition, one of the world’s largest design competitions, for 7 years. Currently developing special design projects under the New Heroes Of Design brand, Dağ also works as a Publication Designer for BrandMap Magazine. He is married and has one child.
